My husband thought I was going nuts but I think it really made a difference in my relationship with God. Like Andrea said sometimes we don't understand the why's. But I can say that seven years and two precious girls later, I wouldn't change a thing.Carlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00718858373230324566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544681789558809568.post-21649734673419480202010-10-04T18:02:07.365-04:002010-10-04T18:02:07.365-04:00Oh, yeah. It propelled me into a truth-seeking quest that peeled back all the layers of my Christianity and got me to the heart of my faith - Christ.Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11920816691217676013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544681789558809568.post-63441481309354134622010-10-04T10:14:31.811-04:002010-10-04T10:14:31.811-04:00Katie,

I will say that I did not always understand the "why's" but would continue to pray that he direct my steps.

Have a wonderful week and kiss the little mans sweet cheeks for us all :)Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06709001842788289402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544681789558809568.post-72077379858731090952010-10-03T18:25:39.921-04:002010-10-03T18:25:39.921-04:00Hi, I found your blog from a friend. Your post to...Hi, I found your blog from a friend. Your post today really caught my eye. I lost my dad in a car accident 11 years ago, when I was 17. Today would've been his 52nd birthday. Yes, I was angry with God when it happened. :( Our family was ripped apart, and it seemed like God should've protected us. In reality, it was that horrible tragedy that brought me into a relationship with Him. I am still angry and sad that I have all these years left without a dad, but I'm not angry at God. It is He who has gotten me through these difficult times.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14806920363956452239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544681789558809568.post-53031086403912951482010-10-03T15:16:08.904-04:002010-10-03T15:16:08.904-04:00Hi, Katie! That must be terrible for you, but luckily Grayden can fill your heart in his own unique way.
Yes, I have been angry with God, too. When my mom died in 2008, I was very upset with him that whole year. After grief counseling, I slowly am recovering and am no longer upset with him. I realize we all have our time on this Earth, and it's all a different time from others. That's hard to swallow, but you have to do it to move on.
Where/how did you get the signature decoration? That is soooo cute to sign your posts like that. I'd like something like that!
You have a good Sunday, too!Missy Schranzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11225514007090421284noreply@blogger.com
