Grayden and Sadler's Nerf Gun Party

We had a BLAST celebrating the boys' birthday with a Nerf party!




The invite:

For food we served pizza, salad, fruit salad, pepper poppers, cheese balls, and veggies/dip







The boys got lots of great gifts, baseball equipment, a bb gun, personalized beach towels, a date with Uncle Ryan and Lauren, new rock tumbler kit, money, a leather jacket, Sports Illustrated Kids magazine subscription, art supplies, fishing supplies, soccer goals, beyblades, legos and more!

Grayden Robert, you are 10 years old!

A whole two hands, bud! You are 10!
I don't know where the time goes! It has been such a privilege to be your mom! 
You are a special boy!

Here's what you're up to at 10 years old:

You are creative and artistic. 
You love songs and know all the lyrics to the hits.
You are affectionate and loving. 


You like to stay up late and read. 
You love to try new things to eat. 
You are so social and friendly. 


You are sensitive and sweet. 
You procrastinate and do things on your own time. 
You wear baseball hats as often as you can!


Your favorite food is cheese broccoli soup. 
You hate having to wear a coat. 
You like all food to be warm temp, and throughly enjoy it.

Grayden's 10th birthday!

Grayden's birthday fell on Mother's Day this year, we did our best to make sure he felt celebrated, and he was SO sweet to remind people to wish me a "Happy Mother's Day" whenever anyone said "Happy Birthday" to him!

He picked out a breakfast recipe and help prepare in the night before 

We went to church where he had a 2nd breakfast- a bagel from the cafe, his dream come true :)



Robb and I took him out for a dinner of his choice to Panera Bread!



Grayden was also able to celebrate with his friends at Craigs Cruisers the Friday night before!

Happy 10th birthday to the boy who made me a mom! 
What an honor to share this special day with you, Grayden!
Despite the many times you ignore me, or the countless eyerolls, I’m so thankful to be your mom!
You are an answer to many prayers and your life is a gift. I have no doubt that God has something big planned for your life; He’s already used yours to change mine. I’m forever grateful to Him, and your amazing birthmom for choosing ME raise you. 
I love you so much!

Grayden's 9th Birthday!

We had such a great time celebrating Grayden's birthday! It was fun having him home all day since it was a Saturday!

Birthday cinnamon roll for breakfast!

He chose Pizza Ranch for his special birthday dinner with us!



When we got home from our special night out we had an extra little surprise of him. 
His very own fishing pole with a little tackle box.

This morning you declared that you’re half way to being an adult, and then you checked if you had armpit hair yet. I know you’re growing up, but you’ll always be my special little boy who I prayed so desperately for!
You are kind, thoughtful, helpful and affectionate. I know God has something really special planned for your life! He’s already used you to change mine! My prayer is that you’ll continue to seek Him and love Him with all your heart.

Grayden and Sadler's Camping Party

This past Sunday we threw a "camping theme" birthday party for the boys!

The invite:

The "Happy Campers":





The food:
We served hot dogs, baked beans, oranges, chips with dip, ants on a log, trail mix and dirt and worms




They received lots of great gifts:
A racetrack for supercars, drones, electric scooters, an indoor basketball hoop, games, craigs cruisers gift cards, and camping chairs. 







Along with the cake we had stuff to make s'mores over the fire pit on the back patio.





We had a wonderful time celebrating our 2 happy campers!
