The last few weeks of Intsagram pictures (i'm katiejo1122, if you want to follow)

Saturday morning car wash :) so nervous!

Robb sent me this pic he took at work of his view of the rainbow!

Hanging fly strips above the island, so classy, but hey...they work!

I took the boys apple picking last Friday afternoon! They had so much fun and were such good helpers!

Friday night we went out with the Hop family to see the live mannequins in the window displays downtown. So much fun, and the most memorable part is how we became live mannequins during dinner when the hostess sat us down by the front window, we got a lot of looks, and stares too!

Saturday morning applesauce making!

Monday afternoon nature walk. We had such gorgeous weather this week!

"Mom! I bet you didn't know Jesus gave me super climbing powers!"
Love him, he says the funniest things!

Oven cleaning tuesday morning, nesting already?

25.5 weeks, still can't believe it, even with the big belly!

I could eat him up!
Enjoying a magic milk at Biggy's while big bro is in school.

Grayden's first field trip! He went to the pony farm and loved it!

Although it made Sadler super nervous, he loved petting the horses!

Totally loving my one on one time with Sadler on the mornings Gray has school, we're making the most of it until little brother or sister arrives!

The 26 week update I got today on my pregnancy phone app suggested we take a babymoon. Just so happens we leave today for one!

Robb has the day off of work today, but I caught him sitting in his truck in the garage making phone calls! He just can't stay away!

Have a great weekend everyone!
no 25 week {bUmPDATE} post tomorrow since we'll be gone, but hoping to squeeze it in on Sunday.

{bUmPDATE} end of week 24!

Saturday, September 21, 2013

I totally forgot to take my 'every 6 weeks' bare belly picture last week (when I turned 24 weeks), so this was taken in the middle of the week, when I remembered, hence the outfit change.
Also, we did not repaint, just got a new camera between 18 and 24 weeks!

Our sweet baby L 24w4d, profile

Although I'm hoping to stay pregnant for a few more months, it was a great feeling to reach 24 weeks, the point of viability. It's definitely given us and our doctor's a sense of relief knowing that if I were to go into preterm labor again, the baby would have a chance at survival now.

Insta Friday!

We hosted 'Supper for 6' at our house with 2 other couples from our church a couple weekends ago, I love to have people over and eat!
Bread and dipping oil is one of my favorite things, but we don't have it unless we're entertaining!

It was also a great excuse to clean things we normally never do...like vacuuming the porch! ha!

I was finally given the go ahead to do some light exercising again at my appointment a couple weeks ago. It felt so good to be back in this room, even better than a nap!

The boys we're glued to the movie playing in the waiting room before Grayden's 4 year well child appointment last week.

My friend Trisha came over last week Wednesday and we swapped hair services, I went a little darker and finally took the plunge to cut bangs!

We had a fun morning last week Thursday at the Critter Barn!

23 week belly pic for my insta friends!

Waiting to go into his classroom for his first day of school on Monday!
So handsome!

Wednesday was my birthday {28}, Robb was able to take the day off so we had a full day planned.
We took Gray to school for his first "full" *he only goes in the mornings, but his first day on Monday was just half a morning* day without me there. During his morning prayer on the way to school he prayed, "please help Sadler not to cry when I'm gone!"

I love him!

He's off...there were no tears, from him, me, or Sadler (who waited in the car with daddy to make the goodbye easier!)

While Gray was at school I had to get my monthly blood work done, after that we grabbed a quick breakfast at McDonalds and let Sadler play in the play world for a bit.
Then we headed down to the farmers market where the boys helped me pick out some pretty flowers for my birthday!

We stopped at the park for a bit to do some sliding

and swinging, so I could feel young again for a bit ;)

Then it was time to pick Gray up and we all went out for lunch!

We came home for the boys to take a nap, and I was even spoiled enough to enjoy a little snooze while Robb helped me catch up on laundry! (I know! He's the best, even when it's not my birthday!)

At night we went to Carrabba's for dinner (yes, its always all about the food for me!) as a family.
After we ate, the boys dropped me off to do a little solo shopping for the babe at Carter's and little for me too at Maurice's while they browsed around at Cabela's.

We ended the night with ice cream from Cold.Stone!

Such a great day!

Grayden's first day of {preschool}

Monday, September 9, 2013

My big boy had his first day of preschool today!

For the first day students only go for either the first or the second half of the morning and parents got to stay with! He loved every second of it, was talkative and made some new friends already!  Wednesday will be the true test when he's there the full morning, and without me, but I'm thinking he'll do great!
It's gonna be a fun year!

Labor Day Weekend

We spend the weekend before Labor Day at the cottage.

The boys loved the new rafts to float on in the lake

(22 weeks)

having fun with the rafts outside the water too!

We set the tent up in front of the cottage for the boys to sleep in, they had fun playing in it before bed!

Time for bed, everyone was so tired from a busy day on the water and the boys went right to sleep in the tent.
They were getting attacked by bugs in their sleep, so Robb brought them back inside around 11:30

Sunday morning fishing with Grandpa!

I haven't gone fishing in years, but a few seconds after my first cast off the dock I caught one!

Gray caught one too!

Sadler sure looked cute trying!

We all contributed to make a big Sunday morning breakfast!

We left for home Sunday afternoon and made it to the evening church service.

Monday morning we headed downtown Holland for the annual Truck parade!

The boys had such a blast!!

The rest of the day we did some work around the house and relaxed! Love those long weekends!
