Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!
Don’t let the coordinated outfits ( I just can’t help myself) fool you into thinking I have it all together! I’m not the great mom I thought I’d be. I get angry, I lose my patience and I fail everyday. But I’m so thankful that God’s mercies are new every morning, and that He saw me fit to be these 3 precious kids mom.
I didn’t become a mom the way I thought I would. I have a son in Heaven and my 3 children here each have a completely unique set of genes. But I’m so thankful for God’s great plan and His faithfulness.
Two of my children call me “mom” but I didn’t carry them in my body or birth them. Their first moms sacrificed their own desires for our benefit. I’m so grateful for those women, but I recognize their loss was my gain. And that’s a heavy load to carry.
If your journey to motherhood isn’t what you thought it would be, or the relationship with your mom isn’t what you thought it would be, if your mom isn’t here to celebrate, or whatever it might be that would make today painful for you please know my prayers are with you today!

I think your words are perfect! Motherhood is something I wanted so dearly and God blessed me with two very amazing boys. It's been the most rewarding but most difficult thing I've taken on.
