The boys and met up with my friend, Emily and her girls to watch the parade yesterday!
We’ve gone to the parade together the last 2 years!

the parade starts at 2, right in the middle of nap time, so it was no surprise the kids fell asleep on the way home!

My goal for this summer is to pack it full with fun things! Last summer we were in the process of building our home and had a fussy baby that kept us very busy, so THIS year I want to make sure its full of good summer time fun and less busyness!

To ensure that happens before we blink, and summer is gone, I made a list of things we’d like to do. I’m sure some of them we’ll do plenty of times and some of them we won’t do at all, but I wanted to have them written down (in a spot that I wouldn’t lose!!) so we can check back when we have free time to do them!

We spent our rainy Saturday at a Bethany Christian Services event to sponsor their post-adoption support program.

Sadly, some of the events got rained out but we still had lots of fun!

the boys didn’t mind the rain at all, in fact Sadler LOVED it!

we are so thankful to Bethany Christian Service and the work they do to the lives of adoptive parents and their children!
we can’t wait for next year’s Micro-Olympics!

Tuesday

daddy came home for lunch and Gray had a meltdown when he had to leave for work again, it was kina cute!

tried almond milk for the first time! I'm on the fence about it but the boys both love it!

Wednesday

we spent the day playing by grandma r! it was a beautiful day!

grilling out for dinner!

chicken monterey recipe here it was delicious!

these babies got a good workout, 2 zumba classes in one day! woot!

Thursday:

made green monster smoothies for the first time, the boys and i loved it!

we went to a garage sale and the boys were pretty interested in the guy mowing his lawn behind us!
