Gray loved feeling the baby moving one morning while he laid with me in bed watching cartoons! His face just lit up every time he felt a kick!

The worst part of camping, SO much laundry!

Gray about to head out for his last night of VBS, he loved it!

he's so sweet!

Grayden had a dentist appointment last week, his second one.

Sadly, we had to go back the next day for a filling but at least I got to enjoy a second cup of their delicious chai lattes!

Sadler fell asleep one night right outside our bedroom door! We had no idea he was there until we went to check on the boys before we went to sleep!

Home cooked food hasn't been a fave of mine during this pregnancy, so I had to document one of the few meals I've made in the past few months.
Spinach Lasagna Rolls (recipe found here)

Ready for the oven

Picture a side of cantaloupe on the plate that Robb always has to cut up, I can't stand the slimy texture, but love the taste!

Yum! The boys inhaled it!

Please tell me you talk with your hands too?! lol
Makenna's first haircut!

This is how the Lubbers wash the windows, power washer!

Picking out school supplies for the backpack drive

Prepping for our back to school bash!

Comforting words as we headed into our BIG 20-week ultrasound on Thursday with a little anxiety.

Munching on some cotton candy on the way to the ultrasound, trying to wake baby up!

We celebrated the news of a healthy baby(!!!) by a family movie night to see Planes!

This was Sadler's very first movie in a theater and he did great!

Have a great weekend!

Back to School Bash

Thursday, August 22, 2013

We hosted a little back to school bash yesterday afternoon. Before the big kids go to school, and schedules get busy, we thought it would be nice to have some of the boys' friends over to play for a bit on the gorgeous day!
Grayden was so excited for the day, the first thing he said that morning was, "It's time for my party!!!"
We had 7 kids in our back yard running around (and 1 crawling!) and enjoying lots of fun in the backyard.

It took me all summer to get the water table out and cleaned up, but it was a big hit!

Squirt guns and sprinklers!

and the play set

All the kids decorated goodie bags to take home as a little craft. Before they left, we filled them with a sheet of stickers, a sucker and fun bracelets for the girls, and cool toy dinos for the boys!

Peyton was just chillin' in her stroller, lots to be entertained by!

Prepping a light lunch:

The kids' lunch: see the pencil?

The ladies' table:

I asked everyone to bring along a school supply to be added to our backpack to be donated to a local backpack drive.

It was such a fun afternoon!

Weekend Wrap Up!

Monday, August 19, 2013

Our fun filled weekend kicked off Friday night with a playground scavenger hunt with Grandpa and Grandma L. Grandma put lots of thought into making it a fun night for the boys, they loved it!

Saturday morning Robb worked at the community hall playground while I took Grayden for a special back to school shopping date!
Grandpa and Grandma L watched Sadler for us.
We brought Arby's (Gray's choice) home for lunch and then all headed to the cottage around 12:30.

We took the boys on a long ride on the new paddle boat! They loved looking for turtles!

Later in the afternoon the whole family went to pick peaches! Yum!

After church Sunday morning we headed back out to the lake to celebrate my niece, Peyton's, first birthday!

I got a new big girl camera, so we had to test it out before the party!

I'm never quick enough to catch these kind of smiles from him on my phone or old camera!
Lovin' the new one!

Grayden wasn't feeling the car-ride photo shoot, but I snatched this cute one of him once we got there!

We had  great time celebrating Peyton!

Sadler was all partied out!

We took Grayden home for a nap around 3:30 and Lisa stayed with Sadler at the cottage while he slept, we met back up at church just in time to do a quick clothes change for Sadler in the back of the van before the evening service started!

We spent the rest of the night playing outside.

It was the perfect Summer weekend!
