i'm moving on

its over.
we're done.
its not you, its me.

I quit the 30 day shred....there I said it, phew.

it was too much for me, call me a wimp but that workout was making me feel worse about myself than I did before I ever started working out.

I made it 23 days and I am proud of it! :)

I'm moving on to this and I like it A LOT better!

Too funny Katie! I was going to ask if I could borrow the Shred when you were done, but now I'm not so sure... I have been doing my videos for 3 weeks now, but I'm getting a little bored with them :)

The 30 day shred scares me to death! I've never heard of the prevention one. I'll have to try that!

Katie! I just started the 30 day shred...I'm just on level one and I thought I would stick with that for at least a week or so. At least you made it 23 days! I'm hoping to get that far...hahaha!

lol! i posted a similar thing yesterday, but i wanted to keep going but got lazy. not to mention i only made it 10 days and not 23 like you.

so in that case, congrats on your 23 day shred! you kicked my butt for sure!

good for you! gotta find what works for you, and not everythign works for everyone. and you HAVE to find something that makes you feel better about yourself while/after you have done it. exercise is hard enough w/o feeling crummy about yourself! do what you gotta do friend :)

Okay I was inspired by you and my friend doing it...what was making you feel worse?

I am still on level one...was going to move to level two on Monday...I have done about 3 weeks/ 6 days a week with level 1.

I will also have to check out the other one you mentioned.

I have been lurking for a few days but finally decided to comment :) First, I love your blog! Second, the shred scares me as well. I have had great results with Prevention workouts!

I have to admit, I haven't done it straight for 30 days. Probably half of that. It's BRUTAL! I got Kim Kardashian's one that is supposed to tone your "backside" and legs. My friend said it was more fun and laidback. Good luck! Keep us posted as to how that one is. I'm always looking for good ones!

lol, love this post! you made it 23 days longer than I did! Seriously, I don't think I could last 5 minutes! Is Robb happy you are done...or did he quit a while back? good luck with the new one...I'm so bad at sticking to things like that!

This made me laugh! I did the 30-Day Shred last May...I actually made it the 30 days..but it made me SO burnt out on exercise that it was hard getting into more of a realistic routine afterwards. It does work though :)

I have so much trouble keeping with the 30 day. I've had it for over a year and just can't get into a routine. I'll do it maybe twice a week. I even tried muting it, but then I don't know how many reps to do. I just can't take her saying "don't phone this in" one more time. I honestly do not know what she means by that. Don't cheat? Then at one point she says "a couple more, you can do it". I've counted, it's 8 more! Since when is 8 a couple?! I feel better. Thanks for letting me vent. I too, will save my Jillian time for watching Biggest Loser.

Ok, I would have been SO impressed if you had made it to day 30, and am still very impressed you made it to day 23! I have NEVER made it past day 6.

Wanted to share, I just started "the biggest loser" for Wii, and LOVE it. Just LOVE it. I feel like I am working out, but it isn't so overwhelming.

Good for you, Katie!!!! I spent alot of time doing it too - but then my puppy got ahold of the DVD and chewed it up :( I was pretty sad. But then - my dear husband bought me the 'My Shape' system (the one endorsed by Jenny McCarthy, it has a webcam that tracks you during the workout). It's fun, pretty hard, and I love the camera function that corrects me when I'm in the wrong position.

Bye bye Jillian - I'll catch up on the Biggest Loser. Helllooooo My Shape!
