Last Saturday I spent the entire day shopping with some friends in Michigan City. The picture doesn't do justice but we had a successful day!

my kids just devoured this delicious salad recipe I got from my sister Lisa; it's salad greens, sliced black olives, red onion, shredded Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, croutons and drenched in Olive Garden Italian dressing. so good.

Grayden mastered riding his bike without training wheels today so we we celebrated with ice cream this afternoon. I'm so proud of him!

Katie, you inspire me to live a happier life! As you probably know, I do suffer from depression, so happiness isn't easy to come by...but when I see your family enjoying the simple pleasures in life, I feel like I have something nice to work towards!
