Robb and I spent the weekend in Traverse City to celebrate his 31st birthday, we didn't do anything for his big 3-0 last year since Jovie was itty bitty so we made up for it this year. It was hard (and unusual) for me not to post to social media about our little getaway, because it would have ruined a little secret I was planning to pop in on my friend Corinn's baby shower on Sunday! It was such a blast!
We had a great time, it was so nice and mild up there for this time of the year and we loved being able to go with the flow and relax just the two of us!
view from our hotel room at the Cherry Tree Inn
warming place to eat a delicious lunch at the Penninsula Grill with my handsome birthday boy!
we hit up a couple wineries to do some wine tasting.
we ate dinner at the Apache Trout Grill after seeing a movie.
Sunday was Corinn's shower! It was so fun to pop in and surprise her, her reaction was priceless!
Kari and I were so pumped we pulled of the surprise!

Anonymous - Did you ever learn the saying in life "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" Grow up and move on from Katie's blog. I can only assume you are the same one who always leaves rude comments on her blog. While it's easy to hide behind a computer screen, you are a bully. Time to act as an adult.
