Robb and I took a 7 night cruise to the Eastern Carriibean onboard the Oasis of the Seas (Royal Carribbean) to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was something we've been dreaming of and looking forward to for so long! We had such an amazing time!
We left Grand Rapids airport at 6am on Saturday, Oct 3.
We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale around 11, and took a taxi to the port and got right onboard to enjoy the lunch buffet and check out the ship! It's the currently largest ship in the world!
it had a carousel onboard, as well as ice skating rink, flow rider surf simulator, zip line, rock climbing wall, levitating bar, several pools, hot tubs, a huge gym and spa, huge casino we got lost in, an aqua theater for diving shows, and much more. It was incredible.
We spent a little time relaxing in the lounge chairs
And then got ready for dinner, our favorite part!
Escargot (yes for real!) is one of my favorite things about cruising, but they are sometimes in low supply so I was so excited to order some the first night (and a few other nights too!)
As you can see by my hair (ha!) it was super windy that night so the diving show was canceled, and scheduled for another night, which was something we were really looking forward to.
So we called it a night! We were so tired from a tiring day traveling and waking up at 3:30am
Sunday morning we woke up in Nassau Bahamas, we didn't have an excursion planned so we hoped of the ship and walked around for a bit before heading back on the boat.
We spent some more time relaxing in the sun
played some mini golf
Robb played in a ping pong tournament
hot tubbing with a view
we also both did the flow rider surf simulator...all the adrenaline gave me a headache ha!
Night 2 was formal night, love getting dressed up with my handsome husband!
For the night's entertainment we saw the ice skating show and a comedy show!
That wraps up day 1 and 2

I'm dreaming of a Hubby and Me cruise! One of these days I hope it becomes a reality. I can't wait to read the rest of your posts!
I have been looking forward to seeing these detailed posts on your cruise it looked AMAZING! Hoping to do this for our 15 year anniversary in a few. Please tell - where did you find that stunning dress? You look beyond gorgeous in it!!
Awe thank you! I found it a few years ago at a Yonkers store in Indianapolis! I hope you do take that cruise, you won't regret it!
I hope so too! We love cruising!
We love cruising! And have done several. I was wondering how all of those extras work. Like the carousel and zip line etc. do those type of things cost extra, or are they included in the cruise price. We did a Royal Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon 10 years ago, but the boat we went on was probably their smallest! Ha! Looks like y'all had an amazing trip!
All of that was included!!
That's Awesome!!
