Frugal Tip (what mom doesn't have a few of those!):

Has anyone heard about or use Ebates? My sisters introduced me to ebates awhile back and it's earned me a few dollars so far just by shopping online (not too hard for me!) Basically you just follow this link and sign up for free. Then any time you do any online shopping log in to your ebates account and see if the site you are shopping on offers any Ebates coupons or cash back rebates. The ones I use the most are Shutterfly, Target, E-bay, and Gap but there are TONS more! Make your purchase and within a few days your cash back rebate (anywhere from 1-10% of your total purchase) will be applied to your account. Ebates mails you a check every 3 months! You get $5 just for signing up! And if you refer any friends you get an additional $5! Pretty easy way to earn a few bucks just by shopping! Gotta Love that!

Do you have any frugal tips to share with me? I am always looking for new money saving ideas!

My newest favorites are:
Making your own baby food and baby wipes. Very easy and cheap!

I second the baby food making....love it! Haven't done my own wipes but I would love to try!

My tip is swapping coupons with other mothers at an online swap spot. I just got 2 Pampers coupons I traded with a woman for Huggies.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out.

I've been printing more coupons online instead of just using the ones in the newspaper. Some people think it takes too much time but if you're buying the item anyways, it's free money.

Kmart has double coupons this week!! Which is AWESOME ... us west michiganders never get double coupons :-(. I got 3 regular size bottles of febreze and ALSO Dawn plus OxiClean for FREE (as well as other good deals on a lot of other things).

Meijer & Family Fare have a pretty good ad this week as well and Wal Mart matches competitors prices (milk is less than $2 a gallon this week at both places).

I am a couponer and this week for my family of 4 I spent only $40 on groceries for the WEEK (that is like 1 meal out to eat).

You should also try retailmenot.com ! If I order anything from facial products to something from Victoria's Secret I always use this website to get promotional codes. It works pretty good!

Coupon.com also is where you can print coupons to help on savings.
