In our house Monday nights are spent as a divided family.
One parent is vegged out in front of the tv in the bedroom and one parent is relaxing in front of the other tv in the living room. And the baby is being passed from one room to the other. And that's the way we like it. Just for that one night.
The reason?
its the whole Jack/Jake debate.
Robb goes for Jack Bauer and gets sucked into the intense drama of CTU and Jack's ability to escape death 47 times an episode and I go for Jake Pavelka and become captured in the intense real life drama of a lonely bachelor looking for love amongst the crazy bachelorettes.
You see, my blood pressure can't tolerate the chilling sound of the ticking clock as the hour goes by and Jack's life is in danger once again and likewise, Robb's manly hood can't stand the fairytale love stories that go on between one man and each of the 5 remaining bachelorettes.
Its ok, we understand each other like that.

Jack. I'm out numbered. We'll to tell the truth, I don't think I've ever seen the Bachelor....probably just as well.

jake but i'm not really diggin' this season. i don't think jake is a "good" bachelor. how many times is he gonna ask one of the ladies tonight "so, how ya doin'?" but, i still watch it every week! oh and my hubby....hates every second and will not watch either!
Jake for me as well! Although my heart just can't seem to take the girls at times!
Haa haa... too cute. Our Monday nights right now are consumed with a different Jack.... from Lost. We're on Season 3. We'd never watched it before until the first week in January. We started w/ Season 1 on Netflix. Unfortunately we won't finish before Season 6 comes on tomorrow night so we'll have to keep our eyes & ears closed! Happy Jaking tonight!! =)

we don't have a monday night show because we aren't caught up with jack, i'd also be watching lost, but i missed a few episodes of it and have to get caught up, also a chuck fan. i would NOT watch the bachelor. now, tuesdays, that's another matter. biggest loser all the way (and ncis on-line the next day)

We are a...Jack on Monday Night and Jake by way of Hulu or ABC online on Tuesday kind of family! If I had my way though, for this season of 24 (very boring) I would be watching Jake and Tenley :)

Oh, definitely Jack for both of us! Although we ususally record it on the DVR and watch it on another night (but not right before bed because then neither of us can sleep!)

We have the same debate in our house. My hubby gets the big screen upstairs for Jack as I head downstairs to watch Jake. Funny how that works out, huh?
The hubs watches Jack, but usually not until Tuesday. We spend Monday nights together with Chuck and Heroes.
Jake!!! He is the cutest Bachelor they have ever had on the show. The girls however are so very different that I can't see who is the likely lucky girl to be Jake's wife. Ali or Tenly maybe...but who knows what this boy is thinking. Sounds like he wants to marry them all!!!
By all means...it is Jake! Although I have begun to get a bit burned out on the bachelor I will never convert to Jack. Just don't have it in me :O) We only have 1 T.V. upstairs so hubby concedes and watches Jake with me.

BOTH! Depending on if my husband is home, I either watch Jake by myself if he's not, or we watch Jack together if he is. I am a big fan of both shows!
Mondays and Tuesdays are my MUST see show nights. Mondays are for the Bachelor, and Tuesdays are for The Biggest Loser. My husband has school on Monday nights and doesn't get home until 9pm, so I don't have to worry about him stealing the T.V. He will usually retreat to the basement and watch the history channel until he falls asleep, and then I will go get him when I'm ready for bed. I have to be honest though, I'm not a fan of Jake's. I have watched every season (excluding the very first one) and I am quite disappointed in Jake. I don't find him very manly. I so wish they would have chosen Reid this season. I loved him!
