Grayden and Sadler's TMNT Party

Tuesday, May 3, 2016

This past Saturday we "shell-a-brated" the boys' birthdays with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party!
The whole family wore TMNT gear, I just can't help myself!

True love for your sons is buying and wearing a shirt with ugly mutant reptiles on it! :)

The invite:

 Food:
For food we ordered pizza (of course!) and had broccoli (Grayden's favorite) and grapes (Sadler's favorite) in the shape of turtle faces, and crackers, cheese and pepperoni platter. Thanks Pinterest!

Presents:

The boys got so many wonderful gifts, TMNT pjs, Legos, Transformer Boulder toy, DinoTrux toy, Paw Patrol air patroller,  a swivel swing, squirt guns, new shirts, a board game, Quixels, wallets, registration for summer nature camp, books and more. One of my favorite things they got was their very own Bibles. We asked all our family members to highlight their favorite verse(s) in them, such a special keepsake.

Last but not least the boys got new bikes! Grayden had outgrown his so he got a bigger 20" one, and we got a tag-along bike for Sadler (he's also inheriting Grayden's old bike) to tow behind Robb's bike when we go on longer family rides so he doesn't get tired out so fast trying to keep up.
( I love this pic because it shows the back of Robb's awesome TMNT shirt! Another Goodwill score!)

Cake time:

sister sneaking leftover grapes :)

Hope you had a great birthday party boys! It's so much fun to celebrate you and how special you are to us! Love you two "dudes" so much!
(Pic from their invite, but I love it so much!)

I've been reading your blog forever but haven't commented much. Love the boys & their party! I know Grayden is adopted but he favors your husband so much! God could not have picked better matches for your forever family. Love your little girl, too, and always remembering sweet Brenham. I'm a BLM, too. I also have kidney disease, but not badly enough for dialysis. Stage 3I think.

Awe, thank you for you sweet comment Sarita! It sure is amazing to see God's perfect plan unfold in our family in those little details. Sorry to hear you're in the "club". Praying your kidney disease stays under control and you'll never need dialysis

Looks like a great party! I've also been reading for YEARS but never comment. I need to start commenting more so you know I'm around and reading. Have loved following your family! :-)

thanks Heather, i don't think I'll ever give up blogging, so most of the pics I'd post on IG will just be here instead. It's freed up a lot of my time!
