Congratulations! What an AWESOME gift and blessing from God! Best Wishes to you and Robb
Congrats Kate! I came across your blog somehow after just having lost our son last Thursday, born at home at 14 weeks. My husband and I are also Christians and are seeking great refuge in the Lord. I am encouraged by your faith journey over the past year. Your blog "When hello means good-bye" just summed up some emotions I've been having tonight as I think about the confusing emotions of excitement after giving birth followed by the devastating reality of what just happened. Thank you for putting yourself out there to be vulnerable to be a light for those like myself that are suffering today.

Yes, I already know this but I will never get tired of hearing the news of baby boy #2. Praying for all that you ask and for S as she hands this little boy over to you, for her heart. And for you and Robb as you accept this little gift without hesitation, knowing that Brenham approves! I am so happy for you.

Congrats! I totally missed this in your last post :) Yay!
I have a very dear friend who gave her first son up for adoption. I know first hand what a difficult decision it is, but what a selfless and loving act. I dare to say it is the ultimate act of love a mother can do for their child. I will be praying that she finds peace in her decision, and thanking God for answering your prayers.
I just discovered your blog today and read the whole thing from beginning to end. I just wanted to say that you are so brave, for everything you and your husband have been through. It's so weird to think you are my age (25) and going through so much at such a young age. It almost ensures that you will spend the rest of your days peaceful and happy. Good luck with your son, I hope he comes home healthy and safe :)

Hi - I just hopped over to your blog from a comment you left on Angie's blog.
I'm so excited for your pending adoption. We have an almost four year old son we adopted at birth. He was placed into our arms by his birthmother on Mother's Day 2005. We are in the process now of waiting to be selected by a birthmother (fun times - the wait!). Congratulations! it is a truly amazing thing, and we can't even imagine becoming his parents any other way than how we did through adoption. I would love to follow your adoption journey via your other blog - our email address is chucknrisa@yahoo.com if you ever want to chat :)
