one proud momma

Friday, November 6, 2009

Wednesday night Robb and I were getting Grayden ready for bed and laid him in his crib for a few minutes to play and suddenly he was sitting up so we grabbed the camera and watched him put himself into the seated position for the second time ever...we were so proud

but then within minutes after that we watch him pull himself up to STANDING using the crib bumper and rails....we were stunned, how did he learn to do that?

So needless to say we were all up til 11 o'clock that night trying to figure out how to lower his mattress.

what a big boy...as you can see he is pretty proud of himself too!

Katie, I have been reading your blog for some time now and I don't comment very often however,
Whether I smile, laugh or cry when I read one of your posts, I always see God's work within them.
Love that smile that your little boy gives you in one of the photos that seems to say "Mommy, this is only the beginning of my surprises for you".

I love the picture where he is smiling, like he knows he did something "naughty", but not really!

He looks so proud and yet so unsure of himself all at the same time. He's too cute.

That's funny. Just what you wanna do late at night, adjust the rail. Atleast it wasn't a surprise in the middle of the night. WHat a cutie!

I honestly cannot believe how big he is getting! I love that sly smile on his face, like he is just going to jump over the railing at any minute.

He is just precious! My son was about the same age when he did that in the crib. I had put him there (for safe keeping...ha) and then started to fold his laundry on the other bed in his room. I hear him make this silly giggle, turn to look at him and he was standing up and leaning OVER the railing. We were also up late that night getting that crib mattress lowered.
