Last year on February 11 Daddy and I went to the doctor for my 18 week check-up. It was a day we were looking forward to SO much! We got to see you on the ultrasound screen for the first time!
We saw all the chambers of your heart, your brain , all your limbs and other organs, the doctor said you looked great! He didn't tell us if you were a boy or a girl, because we wanted to be surprised but mommy had a feeling you were a boy. You looked so cute moving around like crazy. It was so much fun to see you so active, we were glad you werent sleeping the whole time. but it worried us because we wondered if maybe you would be a hand full during your toddler years! The doctor even asked mommy and daddy if we were swimmers because you looked like a little frog swimming around. He also said you had really long legs, just like me. The doctor printed off lots of pictures for us to show off to our families and friends.
I am so glad we got that one and only chance to see you so alive and active, we miss you so much buddy. We hope you know how much we love and miss you everyday, but we are so thankful that you are happy in heaven playing with Jesus. Maybe you are even hand-picking yourself a new baby brother or sister! Love you lots baby boy.
~Mommy

Continuing to pray for you in this time of hurt in your life.
Thinking and praying for you and Rob as you come to Brenhem's 1st Birthday.
Have you decided if your going to celebrate Brenham's Birthday on the 28th,1st, or both days?
Thank goodness for ultrasounds - they provide us memories when we want so badly to see our babies again.
I will be thinking of you and praying for you as Brenham's birthday approaches. It will be a tough day for you.
Okay, between you and Carly (Her Blog is "David's Gift" and she too lost a son after hours of being born) I cannot stop crying. I hurt with you.
I feel that same way about our ultrasound. Thinking of you!
I've been reading your blog for awhile now. This entry really touched my heart. I was 12 weeks pregnant when we found out there was no heartbeat. I have an ultrasound picture from 6 weeks pregnant and it is the most precious picture and I will cherish it forever.
That was beautiful and moving! I am in tears as I write to you, thank you for your openness to share your pain with the world! May God bless you with a very healthy boy or girl!
