{recycled trees that is!}
Grand total of this shopping trip I took a few weeks ago at Meijer......$10.68!
Here's what $10 got me:
4 boxes of Nabisco 100 calorie packs
2 3 pack Bic razors
2 cans of peach pie filling
gallon if milk
2 boxes of honey nut Cheerios
1 onion
jug of Hawaiian punch
country time lemon aid mix
2 cartons of Tropicana O.J.
2 personal size pizza's (great for teenager babysitters!)
hand sanitizer refill 'cuz you know I'm a collector!
2 bags of Lays chips
24 solo cups
3 bottles of chili sauce
set of 2 mini spatulas
fish food
and last but not least 6 goldfish!
And I get deals like this every week (I just don't always take pictures)! And you can too!
It's really so easy, just takes a little time! I uses sites like Savings Addiction and My Frugal Adventures to do the work for me! They match up the weekly sales ads with coupons to save me money! Are you a couponer?!?

I am, but I haven't scored deals like that!!! I need some lessons!
I just started a few weeks ago and have shaved off about $75 off each trip, but I am not quite as talented as you are, yet!
I wish I were a couponer! It seems so hard to get started. You did great!
I also wish I was a couponer. So many ppl recommend it. I really should do it. Encouragement might be key.
Wow! I wish I could be good at couponing...I seem to always spend more than I save because I buy things "just because I have a coupon!"
you would like www.thegrocerygame.com as well, it is an awesome website!!
I used to do great job, but lately not so much. In fact, I have a pile of coupons on my counter that I should be working on right now. I need to get back in the swing. I know it's worth it in the end...=)
I love clipping coupons but i've never left the store only spending $10! You are a professional! :)
oh I'm a big time clipper. I buy 3 sunday newspapers weekly. More money for clothes! (or savings, whatever.)
I tend not to be, but my DH is one. I'm not allowed to go grocery shopping alone anymore because I always spend too much. You did a fantastic job though...
I just made a trip to Meijer last night and my bill was just shy of $70 with slightly over $70 of savings all because of coupons! I also use Savings Angel and follow those same websites you do! Allows us to get more clothes for our little peanuts, huh ;)??
I love my coupons!! I love being able to take pictures of my purchases like that. Great job!!
Girl, you know I'm a couponer!
Hey, I didn't post it yet on my blog, but you won my t-shirt giveaway! Can you email me so I can get you hooked up with the girl from Cafe Press?
So this the first I've commented... but I had to because I am amazed at how much you purchased for so little! I think I will definitely have to look into those two links you included.
Thanks for telling us about these things :)
Love your blog. Feel free to check out this website for Grand Rapids deals. http://grandrapidsthriftymom.blogspot.com/
how do you organize your coupons?? i cut them and then lose track of them or forget that i have them!
I need to take some tips from you! I promise, you are one of the cutest, sweetest bloggers I know and I love to read all about your adventures with Grayden.
On another note, I read your Mother's Day post and it brought me to tears...thank you for remembering all of us who are still waiting. You do understand that pain and the grief and I thank you for your prayers. Most of all I thank God for blessing you and Rob with Grayden and I will never forget how Brenham has touched my life...through him I know your story, his beautiful story.
xoxo

I am a huge couponer. I use a site called Hip2Save. I think that you'd love it. Collin, the website creator, is a young mom too. I am only sad that I didn't coupon sooner...think of all the money I wasted.
Anon 7:36, I use a three ring binder with baseball card plastic sleeves. It's super easy. There's a video and diections on Hip2Save.com
WOW! I love love coupons, today saving $15, not as good as you.
i dont have a good way of organizing at all, I just use a plastic coupon organizer, but it doesn't work well at all when you have a lot of coupons!
We have a great site for the Omaha/ Lincoln area...they post a lot of stuff for our local stores but they also have several offers that can apply to anywhere/ anyone. We had one of the gals from the site come down and speak to our MOPS group. One of our members is great at couponing...she saves about $75 a time. It takes her a long time to get ready for the store, but she really knows how to make it work.
The blog is: www.chicksdigdeals.blogspot.com check it out sometime!
