Prayer Journey for baby L Day 10

Wednesday, April 13, 2011

Today will you pray for my nerves? I’m so nervous that things won’t work out with the adoption and everything will fall through and leave us heart broken. I know the Lord is in control but its hard not to fret about it! There are so many unknowns with adoption and this one specifically so will you pray that we feel a peace about everything? Thank-you all!

I'm sorry to say I do not know you, but came across you blog randomly. The similarities of our lives are almost scary. We lost our son Jude when I was 28 weeks pregnant last fall, and are now 7 weeks away from the birth of our daughter through adoption. I do understand the nerves of feeling on the edge of disaster (again), but God is good. So good, and He will carry us through. Praying for you sister and your family.

Praying for you. I have said a prayer throughout my pregnancy that includes the line, "free me Lord from useless and consuming worry." The worry is consuming, but prayer definietly helps.

I am praying for you - I have and do feel your nervous ness. Trust in Lord, he does not give us more then we can handle.

I am thinking of you. I don't know how you handle the stress of the unknown, but I really and truly hope that it will all work out for the best for you!

Praying for everything to work out for all of you, Katie :) You wouldn't be human if you didn't have anxiety over this!

I read something the other day about how our fear becomes powerful when we turn it into faith. I instantly thought of this when I read your post today. Your worries are totally understandable and I will be praying God turns those fears into faith beyond measure!

Praying for you and all those out there waiting and hoping. We brought our little girl home a year ago in March and my nerves can already get in a knot when I think about baby M #2. Adoption is an amazing gift, but it's not free of heartache. I pray that all goes seamlessly for you guys!!!

EVERYTHING in life that is worth waiting for is worth the worrying!!! NOTHING in life comes easy!
