i had an appt at 9am to get the stitches taken out of my foot

while i was waiting, i saw this shirt on zulily

if i had a $ for every time someone asked me where Sadler was from, (not that it bothers me) I could buy him 3 of them!

turns out my incision wasn’t quite ready to have the stitches taken out. instead the doc changed my bandages and I about passed out! I’ve been queasy about this thing, its crazy! i don’t know when I became so wimpy.

I was so disappointed to hear my stitches weren’t coming out until next Friday! They are right on the arch of my food and makes it difficult to walk. We have fun plans for the weekend and now they just won’t be the same since I can hardly walk :(

After a good cry in the car I swung through the mcd’s drive thru for a chocolate chip cookie and then felt much better!

another 6 lbs lost and meeting surpassing my goal weight (21 pounds total) deserved a little online shopping!

this summer has been the first time I’ve ever lost weight, on purpose. It was hard work but I feel so good now and have lots more energy and confidence. My weight gain was a gradual process over the past 3 years and it was only going to get worse, I knew I had to stop it now before it got out of control.

I’m to the point now where I’m only trying to maintain my weight and continue to tone up. We’ll see how that goes, could be the hardest part of all!

great job on the weight loss! it's SO hard to lose weight but it's so worth it when you meet (or exceed!!!) your goals!

Congrats on the weight loss. I've been putting on 3-4 pounds a year for seven or eight years. I was underweight before, but I've surpassed that! I think what's so hard is that I NEVER had to watch it before. I am trying to buckle down now that school started this week and I'll have more time for myself. Thanks for the inspiration. Maybe you've already posted healthy dinner recipes lately that helped you, otherwise maybe you could post some? Did you make separate dinners for yourself, or did the other three just eat what you made? Sorry for all of the ?s, but I need to learn. Thanks!

I am also interested in hearing what you did for meals since you have a family. I am a full time working mom with 2 young ones and struggle to find easy and healthy recipes for dinner. I'd love to hear ideas from you if you're willing to share!
