Weekend Wrap-up

In case you missed it, my niece was born Friday afternoon, so once Robb came home shortly after 5, we headed out to meet her.

We stopped for dinner at Jimmy John’s before going to the hospital, just to give them a little more time as a family before we came to ~~steal~~ hold her!

We stayed for a little bit and then headed to McDonalds for dessert and let the boys play in the play place. We brought Mindy back an M&M McFlurry (with extra M&M’s) and got to spend just a little bit more time with them before we headed home. I thought was a pretty good idea to get back to see the baby again!

Saturday morning the boys and Robb went with my dad to a tractor show in Hamilton. I had the morning to myself so I tagged along with my mom and Makenna to the hospital to see Peyton again!

We all got back around noon, except for Grayden, who was riding tractor with my dad at work. We had lunch at home and Grayden went to Subway with Grandpa before he came home. Then it was Sadler’s turn for some Grandpa time in the tractor!

Robb and I spent the afternoon cleaning and organizing the garage, we got rid of a lot of junk! love that!

When Sadler came home it was time for naps.

Once the boys woke up we headed to Goodwill to drop off some of our garage find and ate at Logan’s for dinner.

Then back to see the Roelofs’! Grayden couldn’t wait to get back to see his new cousin! Aunt Lisa took Gray to the cottage from the hospital and they had a little sleep over!

Robb left at 4:30 am Sunday morning to a NASCAR race so it was just me and Sadler in the morning.

After church we went to the cottage to spend the afternoon with Lisa and Grayden, and Grandma came for awhile too.

Robb had a great time at the race, they got to be in the pit area the whole time the race was going and before the race. He was so close to all the action!

We all met at Mindy and Kyle’s house at night for pizza and got to snuggle Peyton some more!

It was definitely a weekend to remember! So glad we got to spend so much time with Peyton, because I haven’t gotten to snuggle her now since Sunday! She is such a sweetie and we are so glad to have her in the family!
