What blessing it is, one I far too often take for granted, to live in a free country!
We had a great day celebrating Independence Day.
It was a beautiful day to spend at the cottage
we had a picnic lunch at a fun little park down the road from the cottage that we never even knew was there!

After much debate we ended up taking the kids to the Overisel fireworks in their pjs, good thing because they went from covering their ears to falling asleep during the loud display! All three of them were exhausted from such a busy day!

Curious, what was the debate? who wanted to go the kids? and not the parents?
Just back and for with ourselves if we wanted to be out so late after a busy day and church the next morning.
