Randoms for the Weekend

1. I've been having so much fun opening the packages of hats and blankets that have come in so far, thank you!
2. If you have been following me on Twitter or have access to my adoption blog you will have already seen this but for those of you who missed it here is what we have been up to lately. What do you think?
3. I apologize for the lack of updates for the rest of you on the adoption front, but basically it's because there hasnt really been much to report, we are still waiting to be matched.
4. The wait has been harder than I was expecting so we would appreciate your prayers for patience.
5. We leave for Florida tomorrow! We will be in Orlando with my family until Thurs next week, the guys have a work conference there.
6. Not sure if there will be internet available so I might be taking a bloggy break for a bit, we'll see.
7. We have decided to celebrate Brenham's birthday on BOTH days, the plans aren't definite but I am thinking of doing a balloon release with our family on the 28th and we are also dropping off the goodies to the hospital and on the 1st Robb and I will just spend the day together remembering Brenham on his "official" birthday.
8. Have a great weekend!

I love the color you pick. My daughter's room has those colors and I added ladybugs and dragonflies to it. Madelaine is 2 1/2 and she loves it. I pray for you often and I will pray for patience for you. Have fun in Florida and enjoy the warm weather.

Katie I seriously love the baby room! I also really love your hair studio room. You need to come to my house and help me decorate! :)

Its beautiful! Where did you find the sticker above the bed or did you paint it on?
I love it! Any baby would be so lucky to have you and Robb as parents.

Katie - The nursery is adorable! I love it! The curtains are way cute, did you make them? It's not always easy to do neutral but you did an amazing job.
If any of you are ever looking for the stickers for walls you should totally check out Uppercase Living. My friend sells it and I love it! There is a link on my blog to her site, it's Vinyl Expressions.

The nursery is so darling! I love the colors, and the little sheep :)

A balloon release is a sweet idea, but they can be harmful to animals and they cause litter. Here's an article I found about it: http://www.mecprotects.org/MER/APR04/balloon.htm You're such a considerate person, I just wanted to let you know!

Have a blast in Florida!

Found your blog through Audrey Caroline's. I am eager to hear more of your story for adoption. I'll need to read more to see what is behind your decision, a prayer for blessings and patience. My cousin has been trying to adopt 2 siblings from Liberia. I am also a mom who lost a baby, she was 37 weeks along and we found out she had trisomy 18 a 16 weeks.
