we had a great weekend with a perfect mixture of work and play!
Saturday morning I went to Zumba class and the boys got to work on the yard!
by the afternoon the work was done so after the boys’ naps we headed to town for dinner and to pick up a few supplies and some groceries.
Sunday we went to church and the boys took naps while I went with my parents to a photo shoot they had done as a gift from us kids for their 30th wedding anniversary coming up!
After our evening church service we met up with some friends at the park for a cook out and play time!
the dish i brought! *thank you pinterest!
sadler was such a little ‘oinker’ he ate 2.5 hot dogs, tons of fruit and 2 slices of cheese, can we say growth spurt?!?
Monday morning we all rode the new wrecker in the parade, isn’t it so funny looking?! *thanks for the shout out from a blog reader, loved it ;)*
aren’t they so adobs?!
love that little wave! he loved it!
After the parade the boys played by my parents house while Robb and I went to get flower for our window boxes,
when we got home we planted them and then took off for the cottage where we spent the rest of the day!
Such a fun weekend but let’s not forget why we recognize memorial day in the first place; a huge thank you to our veterans and those currently serving our county!!

You are so welcome for the shout out! I love your blog :) My kids go to Blue Star and have had Jill S. and I am also friends with Heidi M. I feel like I know you even though we have never met. When I saw you on the truck I had to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. Maybe one of these times we will meet in person through Heidi or something.
