Friday morning I took the boys to a neighborhood garage sale



*trying out a new toy grandma bought at the sale*
we found a few goodies too:

step stool: .75
Gap pinstripe shorts: .50
Max Lucado “Hermie” video: $3
handmade matching ties for my sweet boys: $10
froggie rain boots: .50

and our ‘tuck and run’ deal of the day
this water table for $6!

Once I got back home Grandma L came over to watch the boys then my sisters picked me up and we were off to INDY for our sisters weekend!

We got there around 4:30, checked into our hotel room and then took the shuttle to P.F. Changs for dinner


after these delicious desserts we did some shopping.  We spotted these women’s shirts and had to say hello!
who knew sisters weekends were so popular!!


when we got back to our hotel we gave ourselves facials!
we could not stop laughing to take a picture, so we had to settle for this after 20 tries!

Saturday morning Lisa headed to her 31 conference while Mindy and I hung out in the hotel, I went to the hotel’s gym to work off that dessert from the night before ;)
We picked Lisa up from her conference and went to lunch at Goose the Market and ordered a sandwich that none of us have ever heard of half the ingredients in the description but it was really good! (thanks Jayme, for the suggestion!)

Then we shopped around at a craft fair fro a bit and hit up a cupcake shop on the way back to the hotel.

Lisa and I took a walk to a park with a PBS event going on, we had to check it out and take pictures to send to Gray!



We were half way to the Mall so we walked the rest of the way there and met back up with Mindy to do a little more shopping.

we had dinner outside and enjoyed some people watching!

The next morning we packed up and ventured home!
We stopped at the cottage on the way and spent some time there with my Mom’s extended side of the family. It was a perfect day to be by the water.
At night we met some friends out at the beach for a potluck and playtime for the kids!



such a great weekend for so many reasons!
