Thank you so much everyone!
It is so exciting to see all of you sharing this joy with us!
I wish I had more invites to give out. I want you all to stay updated, unfortunately that's just not possible. If something REALLY exciting happens I may post about it and then delete it within a certain time frame, so you'd have to catch it quick but it's something. Or you could always email me if you're dying for some updates! Here's hoping that we get a placement soon and I can open it up to everyone asap!! I can't wait!

a gigantic congratulations to you and your husband. I have a friend who had a tragedy strike after having her first son, and was left unable to have more children. I watched her go through the process of the mountains of paperwork, creating a scrapbook for the moms to look at, home studies, and watching her wait and hope. It was an incredible journey! She now has 2 beautiful boys, one from her belly and one from her heart. I hope that you are able to get a beautiful child soon! Sending you many prayers. I would love to read about your journey, but understand if you feel uncomfortable not knowing me.
Praying daily for you!

Hoping this process is a speedy one!!

A lurker here, taking time to finally 'fess up.

Congratulations on choosing adoption. I can't wait to hear more once the adoption is final.

I just want to say that I think you are an amazing person. Your faith and beauty shines through. You are an inspiration to many...including me.

Katie I am so happy and excited for you and your husband. What a wonderful gift you will give to your child...loving parents who will teach him/her to love Jesus. We have some close friends at our church waiting to adopt from Ethiopia. It's been a long road but they are almost at the end of it....watching them go through this helps me understand what you guys are doing. congrats and God bless you! Susan Carter

Good luck and lots of prayers for a quick placement being sent your way. You are a great mommy. There is a baby out there that needs you as much as you need him/her. Good luck, again! I am praying to hear good news soon!

Robb and Katie,
What wonderful news! We have a brother who adopted from China, a friend who adopted from Russia and a cousin who just adopted this fall from India. I know they (and us too) can't imagine life without these precious children in their lives.
