a gigantic congratulations to you and your husband. I have a friend who had a tragedy strike after having her first son, and was left unable to have more children. I watched her go through the process of the mountains of paperwork, creating a scrapbook for the moms to look at, home studies, and watching her wait and hope. It was an incredible journey! She now has 2 beautiful boys, one from her belly and one from her heart. I hope that you are able to get a beautiful child soon! Sending you many prayers. I would love to read about your journey, but understand if you feel uncomfortable not knowing me.

Katie I am so happy and excited for you and your husband. What a wonderful gift you will give to your child...loving parents who will teach him/her to love Jesus. We have some close friends at our church waiting to adopt from Ethiopia. It's been a long road but they are almost at the end of it....watching them go through this helps me understand what you guys are doing. congrats and God bless you! Susan Carter

What wonderful news! We have a brother who adopted from China, a friend who adopted from Russia and a cousin who just adopted this fall from India. I know they (and us too) can't imagine life without these precious children in their lives.
