But.....You Promised.

Last night i was laying in bed thinking of all that could go wrong at my appointment on wed. and i told robb how anxious i was. I dont know what the doctors found out but i pray that God gave them the wisdom that they need to make the best decision.
As we were talking robb reminded me that no matter what, everything will be okay, we have God on our side.

And then this morning i woke up to this...

A rainbow, God used a rainbow over 2000 years ago to promise His people that He would never flood the earth again. And today He used that same sign to remind me of the promise He made me...He will take care of me. How awesome is our God?

No matter what the results, I am trying to remember that this is all in God's perfect plan.

Please pray for favorable results. And for peace as we go through the next few day.

I am one of your lurkers, but I just wanted to say hello today, and let you know that I will be praying for you.

I know that you and your husband have suffered a tragedy with the passing of Brenham, and are going through a very difficult time right now with your health, but your positive attitude and persistant faith through it all is very uplifting and inspiring to me. You seem like such a an amazing woman, and I hope you know that you have touched many people's lives that you don't even know.

My heart goes out to you and I will be praying that your appointments go well. Our God is an Awesome God! :)

I was in the basement this morning when I heard this strange noise. The sun was beaming in the windows so I rushed upstairs to see what it was. A downpour...amazing. I ran out in my bathrobe to see if I could see the promise in the sky because I knew it was there...but we have too many trees and I missed it. Thanks for the picture of God's amazing promises revealed as sun mixes with rain...isn't that just like life! You are in our prayers every day as we wait on God's plan to be revealed. Rainbows are just the awesomest...Thank you, God!

I've been reading your blog too as many of the others - and I just wanted to share this with you. I was doing some early morning cleaning at church when I walked out to empty the trash. As I looked up, I too saw the beautiful rainbow! AND, I just so happened to have my digital camera along with me! I quickly ran out to my vehicle and grabbed - just in time to get a few pictures too! It is just a beautiful reminder of no matter how alone we feel or how sad and helpless we feel over a situation - God is always there - ready to gently nudge us and remind us that HE is in control - I love that!! Robb and Katie, we are praying for you also - as many others and we continue to keep you in our thoughts. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and concerns - you have been a real blessing to us...
