Tonight's Big Give was a huge success.
I can not thank all of you enough for your support. It was so nice to see so many of you. There are no words to describe how i am feeling right now. I feel so undeserving. Really i do. I wish there was something i could do for all of you in return. And i hope someday we will be in the position to do that.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We are so blessed to live in such a caring, generous community!

Katie,
I’m so happy that you had a great time tonight. I know that everyone at Home and Company was so excited to work on this for you! We have all been amazed by how gracefully you deal with everything that is happening in your life—you are truly an inspiration to us and so many other people. Carley and I wish you could have seen everyone who came into the store just for you tonight. Your parents, aunts, cousins, and friends were making purchases and buying flowers all evening. What’s even more incredible is what perfect strangers were doing— some telling us to keep the change from a $20 bill when they only bought a $5 flower; others giving cash donations and asking if there was anything they could do to help. The generosity and spirit of the Holland community was awesome, and it was all for YOU! Honestly, we can’t think of anyone more deserving of a night in their honor. We had a blast, and we’re glad you did too!

I couldn't believe how PACKED the streets were, it was wonderful and a lot of fun!! We ran into your family which was nice to see them again, it's been awhile. Wish we could have seen you too but I'm sure you were so busy! I'm glad it went over so well, and you definately DO deserve all this Katie. You've been through a ton and it's the least we all could do to support you. It was a great way to do it too...and we didn't even step into any of the stores that didn't have signs :) Hope you have a great Friday and take care!
What a great thing for the Holland community to do for you.
Hi Katie and Robb,
I just read through all your posts after reading about the community night, and was moved by your honest sharing and delighted by your incredible testimony. I prayed for you tonight, that God, who is our deepest Comforter in life and death, would give you a strong sense of his deep, deep, unimaginably deep love for you. I'll return to your blog and keep praying for the needs you post.

HI KATIE!
I am so sorry I was unable to make it to The Big Give! I miss you terribly and think of you every single day...we need to get together soon...
I'm glad you had a visual of only a small amount of the people that love you...because I know there were more people than that who were at the Big Give that truly love you!
Hope to see you soon!
Nicole
You know how you can return the favour Katie, Get well! Then we'll all consider it even.
i work at a downtown vendor that participated, we are so happy to do it!! Katie and Robb... you are in our prayers!
God is so good. Thanks for your testimony to His amazing abundance.
God bless as he continues to use you to share his faithfulness in all situations. Robb...know you have been prayed for on this Father's day. May your Heavenly Father give you all you need in this day. Praying continuously. At His feet.
Robb, Thinking of you on this Father's day. You are in our prayers.
Katie and Robb,
This is Jen (used to be Sternberg) from Overisel. I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your baby and all that's been happening since then. Shortly after you lost your baby Brenham Jay, my husband and I miscarried our first child as well. We weren't as far along as you (I was about 3 1/2 months), but I know how painful it was and still is. I just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you.
I would just like to say it was wonderful meeting the both of you and thank you for sharing your very personal story with us.
Meeting great people like you and your husband is what keeps me going in this challenging news business.
I keep thinking of something my mom always tells me, "everything happens for a reason." God Bless!
