My surgery is NOT tomorrow, it's just a surgery consult. I misunderstood. Bummer. I am ready to get it over with but at least this will give us more time to pray about it! Sorry for the confusion. And thanks for all of your well-wishes.

I know tons of people are praying for you and Robb, Katie - we're not perfect and it's natural to get down in the dumps. Just know that you have a lot of support behind you and we know that you will not give up.
Katie, I am praying for you today. You do deserve some good news. Please don't be too hard on yourself! You are a strong and beautiful person that God loves! He will watch over you and protect you! You just gotta hang in there and get through all this crap first!

I have been praying for you for some time and wanted to finally introduce myself. Your blog came to me thru Jessica K.'s grandma. I so understand how the desire to be a mom can be so strong. We went thru nearly five years of infertility until God shut that door and opened a new one. By the blessing and gift of adoption we became parents. Although I cannot relate to the loss of a child or the difficult health circumstances you are facing now, I do understand pain and how your heart aches for a baby. Please know that you are so on my heart and in my prayers. I am amazed at your strength and your courage. God will bless that. Trust in Him and when the days are dark, do not worry about lifting yourself up - know that others are doing it for you. A favorite scripture of mine is Psalm 94:19 "When anxiety was great within me, your comfort brought joy to my soul." Rest in Him.
