Schedule Appointment.....Check!

Friday, May 9, 2008

My evaluation appointment is scheduled for Monday, May 12 at 2:00 pm. Yeah! We were just hoping to have the appointment set up by Monday, but now the appointment is Monday! We are ahead of schedule. I am nervous and excited to get things moving along. Please pray for me this weekend, pray without ceasing. God has answered our prayers for an appointment so soon and we know He is able to do the same for a low antibody percentage too. Our God is good. He will be faithful.

God is good all the time and His timing is perfect!

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire, he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.
-Psalm 40:1-3

Katie, you and Robb are waiting patiently for the Lord- You know He's in control of all things. He's the one who hears all our prayers and when we're down, He does pick us up.  He gives us verses in His Word that we can claim for ourselves - verses that help us trust in Him.  A firm place to stand when things seem to be crumbling.  Many times I need to remind myself that His timing is perfect and that He does have a plan.  He does put a new song in our hearts --- sometimes it's hard to sing it, but God knows we're praising Him.  The neat thing that I see in your lives is the last part of Psalm 40:3 - many people do see God through you two and because of your strong strength in tough times - many will put their trust in your God.  WOW it's exciting that God uses hard things for good.  I'm praising Him today as you are!XO

Dear Rob & Katie,
Can't stop thinking of you so I checked your blog...and said a prayer. That must be why you are on my mind. I'm thanking God for the way He loves you and for the circle of faithful around you who are not only a blessing to you; but also are being blessed through you. Enjoy the sunshine and the "song He keeps putting in your heart"! Praying in Hamilton Judy
