Happy 2 month Birthday Brenham!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

My baby would be two months old today and yet at the same time I should only be 30 weeks pregnant right now. This is hard. I had a bad day today for so many reasons that I don't even know where to start. My mind is racing but I just cant find the words to explain it all. So I am just writing to ask you all for your prayers tonight. Thanks!

I can not even begin to imagine where you are right now. My prayers are with you and your family right now and will be with you for a long time. Take care of yourself. You will get through this and God will look after you.

God has already given you the strength to get through this, it's inside you, it just might not feel like it's there just yet. I'm sorry for you, I wish healing was immediate for you. You and Robb will be OK eventually but it will take time. Be patient with yourselves and you are in my thoughts.

Psalm 121 personalized for you:

Katie & Robb lift there eyes to the hills- where does their help come from? Their help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let them be over-whelmed.
He who watches over them will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over The Lubbers' will neither slumber or sleep.
The Lord watches over you both-
The Lord is your peace in times of uncertainty, your hope when things seem hopeless. Fear will not overcome you by day or by night.

The Lord will keep you from all fear, he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your dialysis, your blood tests, your appointments with transplant surgeons, your potential doner , your coming and going both now and forevermore.

We are continuing to pray for you both. We hope you feel the Lord’s hand protecting you through this all. Thanks for the testimony that you give me (and everyone else that has heard your story!)
