enjoying a donut after Jovie's appt!

a sweet old grandma made me all teary eyed at the donut shop when she came up to tell me how precious these kids are, and to enjoy this time. Such a good reminder!

It was my lucky day on St. Patty's Day, I won a spot at a cooking demo!

WACKY Wednesday!

I brought 2 different shoes along to school for Sadler to change into out of his boots. opps. mom fail!
visit #4 bajillion is probably pretty accurate for this uti hypochondriac, but this time I really do have one.

do you ever have days when it feels like you are just going through the motions, not intending for God to show up and speak to you? But He always meets us here. Always. Stay in the Word. Seek Him. Even when you are not "feeling it"

I showed up early (I have a habit of that) to Gray's school to surprise him as the Mystery Reader and who do I see standing right in the middle of the hallway when I walk in!? Grayden! Not the surprise I was expecting, but he still was surprised to see me!

finally taking the Christmas lights down, but don't worry, they haven't been lit since January!

she was quite upset that she couldn't eat that donut on her shirt! :)

these eggs weren't quite as good as the Cadburry eggs I had the day before, but we leave for Florida in less than a month, and if I want my Summer clothes to fit I better switch to these!

the hour it took for this Sweet & Spicy Pumpkin Chili by Wildtree to simmer was torture, it smelled so good!

Sadler looking ever so adorable in his patched monster jeans my friend Val made before his field trip to the library on Wednesday.

We wrapped up our Wednesday night church program this week, I sure am going to miss not having to plan dinner once a week.

Enjoying a little quiet, cozy time reading Love Letters from God in our comfies/pjs after pj day at school. We decided to all join in on the occasion. :)

{Freshly Picked Giveaway}

Friday, March 20, 2015

I first heard about Freshly Picked moccasins when Robb and I saw them on Shark Tank a few years ago, and I've been obsessing over them ever since, just ask my husband! (Or my sisters, or my mom, or my friends!)

First of all, these baby shoes are beyond adorable! We get so many compliments on them! I had the hardest time choosing which pair to get, the colors are all SO fabulous.
Jovie is wearing the coral moccs, they are the perfect shade of peachy/pink, which is basically a neutral, if you ask me :) They are perfect for this Spring season! I'm also drooling over Raspberry, Salt Water Taffy, and Merci will be a must for us when the holidays roll around again!

Besides cute, they are made from the softest, high quality leather and they STAY ON! I can't even tell you how many times my babies have taken their shoes and socks off in their carseat while running errands, it becomes quite a nuisance to put baby shoes on time and time again, but these moccs stay on and they go on easy too! No ties or straps to fuss with.

They are so versatile, I love how they can be dressed up

and are perfect for everyday too

The owner, Susan, created this company from the ground up, from her own kitchen table. Her hard work and passion for giving back is inspiring, and it's been such an honor to work with this amazing company!
Freshly Picked has so generously offered to give away a pair of their moccs to one of my readers!

Get excited!!
To enter, please leave a comment telling me what color moccs you would choose. You can check them all out here. Remember: If you comment as "anonymous" leave your name so I can get in touch with you if you win.

The giveaway will run until next Friday, March 27.
If you have already won a Freshly Picked giveaway within the last 60 days you are not eligible to enter, lets share the wealth! If you live outside of the United States you must be willing to pay shipping if you win.

Jovie says, "What are you waiting for?"

*I was given a pair of moccasins in exchange for my honest review and received no other compensation.

Sadler has gone through 9, yes NINE pairs of jeans this fall/winter! Not due to a growth spurt, but from putting holes in the knees!

After Robb being gone so much the past couple weeks we had a much needed morning date, we went out for breakfast at The Biscuit. Couldn't do life without him!

So yummy!

this sweet boy met his birth mom this past week! It was a big day for him!

So thankful to his birth mom and for the courageous choice she made for me to be his mommy.

You know its been awhile since I spent some time with this beast when not only does my heart rate monitor have a dead battery, but I also can't find the key to turn the treadmill on! And let's not forget the  dead giveaway that my jeans are so tight they actually hurt!

another love note I found in his folder. eek!

Deere-ly loved…see what I did there? ;)
