Sadler Graham, you are 8 years old!

Tuesday, April 23, 2019

My sweet Sadler!
The past 8 years have flown by, it's been a joy and an honor to watch you grow up! I love being your mom!

Here's what you're up to theses days;

You are kind and considerate.
You are very responsible and smart.
You love football and you love babies.

You hide your favorite snacks in secret places so no one else will eat them.
You always have a cup full of water in the fridge.
Every time you go in the pantry you have to pee.

You are strong and fast.
You are passionate and tender.
You are funny and sneaky.

You hate dress shirts and being late.
Your favorite food is cheeseburgers with ketchup and extra pickles.
You are a kind friend and leader in your class.

We love you tons Sadler!

Sadler's 8th birthday!

Saturday, April 20, 2019

We had a great day celebrating Sadler's birthday!
Upon waking he found 8 boxes of his favorite granola bars, just for him! He promptly hid them in a safe place :)

We started his birthday off with his favorite coffee cake for breakfast before taking him to school.

Any day they don't ride the bus is a celebration :)

I brought McDonald's to school and enjoyed lunch together!

after school he got the present Jovie picked out for him, a football field rug. That hug melted me!

In the evening Robb and I took him out for a special birthday dinner to Red Robin, his choice for the last couple years.

We ended the night with the Good Friday church service and he opened one last gift when he got home, a HUGE Nerf gun and some books he picked out at the school book fair!

Happy 8th Birthday Sadler!

Happy 8th birthday Sadler!

What a special day it was to celebrate his birthday on Good Friday and be reminded of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for him, and for all of us, by dying on the cross because he loves him that much!
We also remember and honor his birth mom for the loving sacrifice she made to chose life in order to fulfill another woman’s dream. It’s the most selfless human act I can ever imagine.
Sadler, you are fiercely loved and cherished. You are such a special part of our family, and we are forever grateful to those who brought you into our lives!

"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

PCB {Spring Break '19}

Thursday, April 18, 2019

We had an amazing week Spring Break'ing in Panama City Beach with our dear friends, The Meiste's.

We left Friday morning at 6:00am

this wifi hot spot I rented from the library was a LIFESAVER! Best thing I ever did.

We stopped for the night around 4pm in Alabaster, Alabama and enjoyed some Southern BBQ for dinner.

We stayed at a Holiday Inn. The kids swam and we got a great nights sleep.

the next morning we had breakfast at the hotel

totally entertained by the pancake maker

burning some energy with parking lot football before we hit the road again at 8:30

PCB here we come!

We arrived at the beach around 1:30 and kicked off our vacation with a beach front lunch on the patio at Harpoon Harry's.

Fish tacos were a must!

We couldn't check into our condo until 4, so we happily killed some time by the ocean!

We stayed at the Shores of Panama.
It was beautiful.

After settling in a bit we grabbed a quick dinner at Zaxby's across the street and picked up our Walmart groceries.

Grocery pick up was another genius idea!

The kids were so excited to swim so we went down for a late night dip!

my happy place!

first day of vacay, you hit the beach EARLY!

we typically started the days down at the beach, went back up to the condo for lunch and then spent the afternoons at the pool.
It was the best of both worlds!

matching "Adventure of a Lifetime" shirts seemed appropriate!

We had dinner at Gulf Coast Burger Co and watched the MSU game. So fun!
