Any Grey's Anatomy watchers out there?

Thursday, October 23, 2008

It's all about kidney transplants, which we thought was quiet a coincidence, but you know what is even weirder? Meridith dropped the kidney on the floor!! Remember this?

Anyways, it has been very interesting (and a little inaccurate) to watch. I wonder if the surgical team clapped when my kidney "pinked up" too?

Anybody watch it??

I didn't watch it tonight- but I've seen it before- Now you know the real way this medical stuff happens.
I hope you are doing well. When do you get to come home? I heard your mom and dad are coming? Are they there yet?
Have a great day

Katie~
As soon as Meridith dropped the kidney I looked at Josh (my husband) and said I bet Katie is on her blog. Then I went on to tell him the story about how you asked the Doctor what would happen if they dropped your sisters kidney before you got it. Then I quick got on the computer and had to see if you had written anything. I knew you would have to write something on here right away. Well I know that when your kidney was in and it pinked up God clapped and smiled! I hope that you have a great night.

I started reading your blog about a month ago and tonight I was praying that you got to see the episode! I thought it was so cool that the episode was about kidney transplants. I'm sure everything wasnt actually accurate but I started laughing when Meridith dropped this kidney, I remembered you talking about it in a previous post.

Katie, my name is Kate and I grew up in Holland. I was having a very rough day yesterday with alot of friends and family having babies and my husband and I trying unsuccessfully. A great friend of my who still live in Holland sent me a link to your blog so that I could gain strength. I was actually reading your story and watching Greys at the same time. I thought the same thing about the pinking up that you did. It is a really small world. I will think of you often and check back. I am hoping that your faith will rekindle mine that has been wanng since the loss of my father. Thanks again. Kate

Just watched it online. My question is how far do you think the 5 second rule should go? I am not sure that applies to internal organs.
