Monday was quite a day for us! we started out with routine blood work for me in the morning, the boys had fun playing with the chairs in the waiting room!

on my way out of the office i looked down at my arm and saw blood all over my shirt sleeve and dripping everywhere!! that’s happened a time or two before but hardly ever! so i used baby wipes to clean my shirt up and stop the bleeding.

then in the parking lot grayden fell on the sidewalk! he had toys in his hands that he didn’t want to let go of so his nose caught his fall! He was in hysterics demanding a band-aid and to “hurry to target” so more baby wipes were used, just like i suspected sadler had a dirty diaper when we stopped to feed the ducks so i scraped by with one wipe!

once we got the band aid he was much better!

then we went to feed the ducks which i was hoping would cheer him up but he was petrified!

Wednesday:

trip to sams club with my mom and makenna, i spotted sadlers birthday gift on the website but didn’t have a membership :) they didn’t have it in stock though!

my uncle Dave was doing some excavating work at the neighbors lot so we had to go stop and say hi! the boys loved it!

Thursday:

sadler got into a lot of mischief on his birthday!

we started a marble jar for gray, he gets a marble in the sundae cup for good behavior and looses a marble for naughty behavior, its working like a charm! when the cup is full he gets a prize!

gray added his special touch to my decor! a jar full of crumbled stickers!

catching up, so close now! it will feel so good to be on schedule again, its been months!

One day a little boy was born into the world and for a very short moment his mother held him close.

But soon they came to clean him up and right then the mother knew. Life with that little boy would always mean letting him go.

His mother knew something had changed because the little boy didn't want to be held anymore--he wanted to walk.

So she kissed him on the top of his head, took a seat at the back of the room, and held her breath and crookedly, very crookedly, he took his first steps

sadler’s been obsessed with this toy this week! funny kid!

last Saturday Robb and the boys worked on setting up their new play set, but I had a girls shopping day planned with 6 friends so Robb was in charge!

They guys started out around 9am, I headed out shortly after so he kept me posted with phone pics throughout the day, I hated missing out on the fun but glad i didn’t have to help ;)

I know the boys will have hours of fun on this thing!

I love Easter, one of my favorite days of the year! Celebrating our Risen Savior, dressing up for church, yummy food, and time with family!

Sunday mornings are always a bit hectic in the Lubbers’ home and Easter Sunday was no different!

We attempted a few pics of the boys, I was pretty pleased with the turnout of their individual pictures by the front door,

but when it came time to take a picture of them together, this is what I got:

I didn’t even attempt a family photo, which I now regret!

We scurried to church, dropped Sadler off in the nursery and the rest of us made our way to our pew. Once I sat down I remembered I had forgotten to give the boys their Easter baskets! Just as good to do it once we got home, more time to play before hurrying off to church, I suppose!

We don’t do ‘the Easter bunny’ we just keep it simple with a few toys but this year I thought it would be fun to hide Gray’s basket in a corner of the house, he found it right away! I guess I don’t give him enough credit for his seeking skills!

We had a little down time at home and then we were headed to Robb’s Aunt and Uncle’s house for brunch and an Easter egg hunt with the kiddos!

after dessert we headed home for nap time, and in the evening we headed to my parents house for dinner and another egg hunt!
